Strictly couples seen dancing together for first time in new teaser

Strictly Come Dancing has revealed a new teaser showing the couples performing together for the first time ahead of the launch.

The professional dancers and their celebrity partners dance together in the clip shared on the official Strictly Twitter page.

Catherine Tyldesley and her partner Johannes Radebe give a little shimmy, while Michelle Visage brings the sass.

Kelvin Fletcher appears alongside Oti Mabuse for the first time too, since he replaced her original celebrity partner Jamie Laing.

Made in Chelsea star Jamie was forced to quit after sustaining a painful injury during the launch show.

Also in the teaser, Dianne Buswell and Dev Griffin bring the moves, as Neil Jones makes his debut as a show performer.

Katya Jones' husband is getting a celebrity partner for the first time, amid his split from his wife and co-star.

The trailer also features Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer, AJ Pritchard and Saffron Barker and Kevin Clifton and Anneka Rice.

Emma Barton, David James, James Cracknell and Alex Scott also give viewers a first look at their dance moves.

The clip comes after Emmerdale actor Kelvin spoke about his Strictly challenge for the first time, since replacing Jamie.

He explained: "As an actor I can bring the story, the narrative in each performance.

"If I can't do that, then... might as well give up as an actor, hadn't I?"

He even showed off some of his moves in the short video, giving a teaser for what was to come.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 launches live on BBC One on Saturday September 21.
