Strictly Come Dancing week seven songs announced - and it's a groovy one

It's that time of the week again where the Strictly Come Dancing songs and dances have been revealed for week seven.

The ten remaining couples will take to the dance floor again and battle it out for a chance to lift the famous glitterball trophy.

Each dancing duo will perform in a bid to impress the judges for a chance to reach the nearing final.

Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley waved goodbye to fellow contestants on Sunday night as she and dance partner Johannes Radebe were the latest couple to be booted off the show.

But as the competition soars on, here's what couples will be performing to this week.

Former footballer Alex Scott will have to impose the judges to fall in love with her routine if pro dance partner Neil is still suffering with his injury.

The pair will be dancing American Smooth to Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye - but if Neil is still "unable to walk", then Alex could be dancing with Kevin Clifton again like last week.

Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke will be dancing the Rumba to Woman In Love by Barbra Streisand following their score of 28 last week.

She dressed up for Halloween week as the Queen of Hearts and wowed head judge Shirley Ballas, but Craig Revel Horwood said: "I was obviously watching a different dance", and criticised the pair for lacking aggression and drive.

Viscountess Emma Weymouth and partner Aljaz are doing the Samba to I Don't Care by pop stars Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber .

Catherine Tyldesley previously struggled to do the Samba in her heels when she was rehearsing, so hopefully Emma can pull it off.

Michelle and Giovanni will Paso Doble across the dance floor to the classic Another One Bites The Dust by Queen.

YouTuber Saffron Barker and hunk AJ Pritchard will also be doing the Salsa to the dance anthem Instruction by Jax Jones and Demi Lovato.

But Chris and Karen are the lucky stars this week as they will perform to a Couples' Choice routine - and they have chosen Street/Commercial to Let's Get Ready To Rhumble by PJ and Duncan.

Oti Mabuse and Kelvin Fletcher perform together (BBC/Guy Levy)

CBBC's Karim and partner Amy are preparing to Quickstep to Mr. Pinstripe Suit by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

While soap hunk Kelvin and Oti Viennese Waltz to Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera.

Will Bayley and partner Janette (BBC)

Mike and Katya will Charleston to Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines following his death threats and online abuse - but he won't let it stop him from doing his best.

And last but not least - Will and Janette will Waltz to Weekend In New England by Barry Manilow.
