Strictly Come Dancing met First Dates on Saturday night as the Christmas special was teased.
The upcoming festive episode was given a plug during the BBC One dance contest's grand final.
Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice battled it out against John Whaite and Johannes Radebe in a two-couple final after AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington has to bow out due to injury.
After equal scores from the judges, the decision came down to the public to crown their 2021 winner after a history-making year.

And it was Rose and Giovanni who lifted the Glitterball trophy after an emotional bit of telly.
But there was a distracting moment during the epic episode of Strictly - due to Fred Sirieix's new appearance.
The First Dates Maitre D' appeared on Saturday night's show as they promoted the Christmas special of Strictly, which airs on Christmas Day, alongside his competition including Adrian Chiles and Mel Giedroyc.
But the star, who fans are used to seeing in his restaurants trying to match the perfect couples, was sporting a striking new look.
Fred has dyed his hair bright red to match his dance partner, Dianne Buswell, who is known for her fiery red locks.
@darrenbizzle2 tweeted: "Fred lad ! .... what's with the barnet."
"Why has Fred died his hair red #Strictly," @luceletics asked.
@GagaForCher added: "Why tf has Fred gone all Squid Games with his hair? #strictly."
But Strictly fan @AMORETSAGKRINOU was quick to point out: "THE DIANNEIFICATION OF FRED #Strictly."
The Strictly Christmas special will also see The Repair Shop presenter Jay Blades newsreader Moira Stewart, and pop star Anne-Marie also take to the ballroom with one of the show's professional dancers.
