Strictly Come Dancing viewers demand couple shouldn't be in final as some say show is 'rigged'

Some Strictly Come Dancing viewers have demanded one couple shouldn't take place in the show's final. They have been calling for Fleur East to be thrown out of the competition after making a mistake in the dance off.

Fleur and her partner Vito Coppola got through the dance off after sending Will Mellor and pro partner Nancy Xu home on Monday evening.

Birmingham Live reports some fans are angry after Will was sent home. Anton Du Beke, the only judge to choose Mellor, said "both danced terrifically" but he had to go with the "details". He added: "Due to an error in a dismount from a lift, I am going to have to save Will and Nancy."

James said: "Sorry but Fleur made a mistake, Will did not. Will should be in the final." Dawn said: "I’m heartbroken for Will and Nancy. No way should Fleur have gone through with an obvious mistake. Will - you were amazing, Nancy you were fantastic - so sorry you didn’t make the final."

"I think Fleur is fab BUT they made a very obvious mistake. Based on the dance off alone Will was better and should have went through to the final. Anton called it right #Strictly," Sinead moaned. Gordon G said: "Rigged beyond belief. So dance off mistakes or errors don't matter now?!? The judges made sure Fleur & Molly were in the final despite several dance offs & little public support. #strictly."

"My wife an avid view of Strictly for many many years gave up watching this after Fleur was *allowed* a re run & hidden by the BBC. She said *all contestants are judged on quality OR mistakes, Fleur obviously was outside of this. She'll go onto the final & probably win it* she said," another commented.
