Former Strictly Come Dancing star Artem Chigvintsev was unable to attend a scan with pregnant fiancée Nikki Bella.
The professional dancer, who won the celebrity dancing show in 2010 with celebrity partner Kara Tointon, couldn't go along to the hospital appointment due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The dancing star has been eagerly anticipating the birth of his child with his WWE star partner.
Artem told Hello! magazine : "It is a really crazy time. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with the new restrictions.
"We usually go for pregnancy scans together but I couldn't go to the last one, because new rules meant that Nikki couldn't bring anyone to the hospital."
The dancer also discussed how he is ready for the impact of having a child on the pair.
They first got together in 2017 when they were paired together on that year's season of the US answer to Strictly, Dancing with the Stars.
The pair were eliminated from the hit American show after 7 weeks performing together - but it was enough to forge what will be a lifelong bond.
Artem explained: "Having a baby is a big deal, so we hope things get better for when the baby arrives.
"We're praying for a healthy baby and that everything goes well. We can't wait to meet our baby.
"I've always wanted to have kids - I think it's something that every human should experience. We are very lucky."
The couple got engaged in Paris in November last year.
A mere two-and-a-half weeks later, Artem and Nikki learned that they were expecting their first child together.
Of their romantic engagement in Paris, Artem added: "She did not expect it at all.
"Nikki is obsessed with France and its culture, so it made total sense to propose there."
