Strictly Come Dancing Shirley Ballas' 'concerning' health update after lump check-up

Shirley Ballas has shared a "concerning" health update with her Instagram followers.

The Strictly Come Dancing head judge consulted medical attention after viewers of the show spotted a lump under her arm.

The 61-year-old from Wallasey revealed the doctor couldn't feel a lump during her underarm and breast test but she did receive a follow-up appointment as she was displaying irregular hormone levels.

Shirley has today posted a clip to share the "concerning" outcome of her blood test results.

She said: "The testosterone has come back ultra high. The adrenal glands need a scan, my ovaries needs a scan. My oestrogen levels are extremely low. All in all, a little concerning for my doctor."

Shirley said she has been referred to go for another appointment at King's hospital - and thanked the fans who alerted her to the problem.

She added: "I’ll keep you all updated each and every one of you. Remember health is wealth so I’ll be on top of these issues for the time being. With gratitude to you all."

Worried fans and followers flooded the comments to wish Shirley well as she awaits her follow-up appointment.

Dancer Motsi Mabuse said: "Take care of yourself."

Amelia posted: "Oh goodness. Sending my best wishes and love, we are all here for you."

Rosemary commented : "Sending you hugs and much love."

Rachel added: "Sending lots of love and my best wishes. Hope you’re ok."
