Strictly Come Dancing's Rose Ayling-Ellis 'overwhelmed' as she and Giovanni share special moment

Rose Ayling-Ellis admitted to feeling 'overwhelmed' as she shared a special moment with dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

The Strictly Come Dancing stars are set to compete in the semi-final of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night December 11).

And the pair have been inundated with support from viewers.

In a video, shared to both Rose and Giovanni's Instagram pages, started by showing a dressing table filled with cards and letters.

It then shows Rose and Givanni sifting through the messages together.

"That’s nice isn’t it," the Italian dancer says to Rose before adding: "Yeah, we have so many."

Rose then looks up, slightly taken aback, before saying: "So many. I feel so overwhelmed. It’s so lovely to have so much love and support from you all.

"We really appreciate it."

Giovanni then followed up the video with another significant moment for the pair.

Shared from a Strictly fan, it shows Rose and Giovanni's incredible 'silent dance' being spoken about on American TV station, CBS.

The pair were also interviewed on the show.

Fans were quick to flood the post with support.

@running_lulu commented: "That just made me cry! Love this partnership so much.

"Giovanni has showcased Rose and allowed her to shine and take centre stage throughout this wonderful partnership," @ mathermelita said.

This weekend Rose and Giovanni will dance an Argentine tango to A Evaristo Carriego by Eduardo Rovira, and waltz to How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding.

Last Saturday they joined Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu at the top with a score of 39 last Saturday night,
