Strictly Come Dancing's Neil and Katya Jones spend weekend together after split

Strictly Come Dancing's Neil and Katya Jones seem to be having the healthiest split ever - just a week after the husband and wife announced they were separating, they spent the weekend together at a penalty shoot out.

Taking to his Instagram story, Neil filmed Katya trying to slip the ball past the goalie at the ground of Alton FC.

He captioned the first clip, in which Katya's shot on goal is easily blocked: "The Real Penalty @mrs_katjones."

Shouts of "Rubbish!" go up from the crowd, including Neil. Speaking straight to the camera, Katya laughs: "I aimed for the middle, but she didn't move!"

As she tried to explain herself, Neil wrote: "Clearly she's been watching Pogba @mrs_katjones."

She scores in the next after the keeper pretends to dive the other way, with Neil writing: "When she makes her feel good by jumping the wrong way @mrs_katjones."

After the couple announced they were separating, it was reported the two might have rekindled their romance.

They were also reportedly going through a 'sex drought' - a source told The Sun on Sunday : "Neil was very open about the fact that there was no passion between them - that they didn't have sex.

"He said they spent all their evenings together lounging on the sofa in comfy onesies, watching Disney films..."

The couple have been the focus of controversy since Katya was snapped snogging comedian and Strictly dance partner Seann Walsh during last year's comptetion.

Neil and Katya chose to stay together, and denied the kiss was the motivation for calling it quits.

In a joint statement, they said: "After 11 years, we have made the mutual decision to separate.

"We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.

"Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always respect and love each other."
