Strictly Come Dancing's Molly Rainford speaks out on two swirling show romance rumours

Strictly Come Dancing's Molly Rainford has shut down the two romance rumours that have been circulating.

The singer and actress, 21, who is set to take to the dancefloor in Blackpool on Saturday with partner Carlos Gu, has been linked to pro dancer Nikita Kuzmin, 24 and fellow celebrity Tyler West, 26 during her stint on the show.

Molly, who stars in CBBC series Nova Jones, said she doesn't have time for romance, but joked that having a fling "wouldn't be the end of the world."

Breaking her silence on the romance rumours, Molly said: "Apparently everyone thinks I’m dating all the cast, but what time do we have to date anyone while we’re on this show?"

“They’re both lovely boys but I’m too busy for any of that," she added to The Sun.

"They’re both great, but all of the group are. My priority on this show is to dance and learn and put on a good performance," she explained.

Molly said she struggled to see how she would find time for romance on the show.

Speaking about her future plans for her career, she said that she would like to "open as many doors as possible".

Molly said how she looks up to Kym Marsh, adding "she has done so many things in her career."

Molly and the rest of the gang couldn't contain their excitement as they arrived in Blackpool for the first time in three years.

She was seen messing around with Carlos at a tram stop as they headed to their accommodation.

Last weekend she and Carlos performed the Rumba to All the Man That I Need by Whitney Houston and won a staggering 37 points.

For Blackpool week they will dance the Jive to Bandstand Boogie by Barry Manilow.

Molly and Carlos weren't the only ones dancing in the street, they were joined by Will Mellor and Nancy Xu.

Last week they did the Waltz to Three Times A Lady by the Commodores.

Will touched viewer's hearts after he dedicated his dance to his dad Bill, who passed away from cancer during the pandemic.

He said how the passing of his dad spurred him to throw himself into new challenges.

“There are times in your life where it’s like an epiphany, and you go ‘Why was I scared of grabbing things?’ Well, you know why — it’s because you value other people’s opinions so much, or you’re scared of the unknown," he told TV Times magazine.

"You watch out, I’m coming! I’m doing everything now!"
