Strictly Come Dancing's Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse leave Motsi Mabuse in tears after showdance

Motsi Mabuse was left speechless and in tears after her sister’s final dance with Kelvin Fletcher in Strictly Come Dancing.

The Strictly judge, 38, cried tears of joy after Oti, 29, and the Emmerdale actor, 35, danced a medley to Shout by The Isley Brothers.

The showdance encompassed Kelvin’s best moments throughout the last 13 weeks of the series.

Highlights included his floating push up from the pair’s jive to jailhouse rock from the Blackpool episode as well as ballroom, salsa and rumba moves.

Speaking afterwards, Motsi said: “Normally I can go on about things but you guys, I have no words. That left me, yeah,” before she began to cry.

Head judge Shirley Ballas added: “You had everything in the routine, we could see your technique, like they said, that has gone into the whole series. But you pushed the limits. It had everything - it was exciting, it had good set, good music, good chemistry, good body action. It had it all.”

Bruno Tonioli said: “That was a tour de force, it was almost like watching 13 weeks of all the best of Strictly Come Dancing condensed into one dance. We always ask for more content. Content – you can’t ask for anything more.”

Speaking afterwards, Kelvin said: “It’s been absolutely amazing, all the dancers have been so, so good. It’s just amazing, I feel so fortunate to be here, I’m just loving every second of it.”

The duo then went on to win the final, with Kelvin breaking down in tears as the result was announced.

"I'm absolutely speechless. I did not expect that. It's been such a privilege to be here," he said after being announced as winner.

"I think this show represents everything that is amazing with this country. I think the people personify here what is great and it's been an absolute privilege."

Their other two dances of the evening consisted of a samba to La Vida Es Un Carnaval and a Rumba to Ain’t No Sunshine.

The duo scored a total of 119 points from the judges, putting them in third place on the leaderboard.
