Greg Wise's wife Emma Thompson packed condoms in his luggage before he left to compete on Strictly Come Dancing, and now he has explained why.
Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain with hosts Susanna Reid and Alastair Campbell alongside dancing partner Karen Hauer, the actor revealed that she put protection into his suitcase as a joke.
"Greg, can we talk condoms?", Alastair asked the embarrassed actor, before continuing: "Your wife helped you pack and put a couple of condoms in your luggage."

He responded: "My wife, as you know, is a great gagmeister. And so, the whole Strictly curse thing, to put it into some form of perspective, send it off with a really good gag!
"What’s most bizarre about it, she said it off the cuff to someone that we didn’t even know."
The 'Strictly curse' refers to the affairs that have taken place over the course of Strictly Come Dancing's history, after the celebrity taking part and their professional dance partner have fallen for each other.
Alastair continued: "Is she going to count them out and count them in just to make sure they’re there when you go back?"
Elsewhere in the interview, the host asked Greg whether he should consider appearing on the dancing competition himself.
"I've been asked to do Strictly virtually every every year, should I do it?" Alastair questioned.
Greg responded by asking how old the host was and, upon hearing that he is 64 years old, joked: "It would kill you!"
