Strictly Come Dancing's former judge Bruno Tonioli announces return

Former Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli has announced he is making a comeback - but not on the show.

Bruno served as a judge for Strictly Come Dancing since the show launched back in 2004 and said he was "gutted" that he couldn't take his seat for series 19.

The Italian choreographer has been living in the USA and filming Dancing with the Stars - due to the Covid travel restrictions in place over in the US, Bruno was unable to fly back and Anton Du Beke has taken over.

However, he revealed that he would be making a return to the Strictly team.

Speaking on the One Show on Thursday evening (October 21), Bruno said he would be joining the Strictly Come Dancing team again.

Presenter Alex Jones said she had some 'exclusive news' to share with the viewers.

Bruno then excitedly announced: "I am going to come back!

"And I'm doing the tour all over the country I cannot believe it.

"I cannot wait to come and see the fans...10,000 people you get such a rush of adrenaline."

Bruno will be joining the team for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour that will be in Scotland early next year.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will be in Glasgow from February 5-7 2022.

A host of the celebs and professional dancers from the BBC One TV show will waltz and samba around the country performing 33 shows in some of the UK’s biggest arenas.
