Strictly Come Dancing's Dan Walker will do another reality show under one condition

Dan Walker surpassed his own expectations when he competed in Strictly Come Dancing this year.

The BBC Breakfast host made it all the way to the quarter-finals of the dance contest last month with professional partner Nadiya Bychkova.

Dan, 41, faced a lot of stick for making it through ten weeks of training sessions and dance routines on the hit BBC show.

But the support kept flooding in for the presenter.

And fans of Dan may be wondering if he has plans to take part in any other reality show.

During a Q&A on his Instagram Story on Thursday, he was asked if he'd ever considered appearing on Dancing On Ice.

While it wasn't a firm no, Dan joked: "Just 'dancing' was hard enough."

Before adding he would give it a go under one condition.

"I'll do it if @nadiyabychkova does it."

He was also asked who is was closest to from the 2021 Strictly cast.

Sharing a group photo featuring AJ Odudu and her mum, Sarah Davies, and Katie McGlynn, Dan replied: "We all go on really well.

"Some of us stayed at the same hotel on Friday nights. This was taken the night before the final."

Earlier this month Dan shared the real reason he won't be taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour next year.

There was speculation as to why Dan wasn't included in the line-up after making it so far in the competition.

Some of the show's favourite stars from the 2021 series will be heading on the road in the new year to perform at arenas across the country - including winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and finalists John Whaite and AJ Odudu.

Addressing his absence from the line-up, Dan tweeted: "I can’t wait to take my family to watch the #Strictly tour this year but I sadly won’t be part of it."

The 44-year-old went on: "I have too many work commitments and I want to be at home after spending so much longer on the actual show than I ever expected

"I’m sure it’ll be amazing - as usual."
