Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood wants fellow judge replaced

Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood reportedly wants former judge Bruno Tonioli back on the panel - replacing another judge from the lineup.

Craig, who has been a judge on the BBC dancing competition since its first series back in 2004, has stated that fellow veteran judge Bruno brought "pizzazz and expertise" to the show.

Bruno was replaced by former professional dancer on the show Anton Du Beke after it was announced that he would be unable to participate due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

However, as reported by Birmingham Live, Craig has now indicated that he wants Anton removed from the lineup and Bruno to make a return.

The remainder of the judging panel consists of Motsi Mabuse - sister of professional Oti, who was eliminated alongside rugby player Ugo Monye last month - and lead judge Shirley Ballas, who replaced Len Goodman back in 2017.

A source told the Sun: “Craig feels the chemistry is a bit flat without Bruno.

“He brought some pizzazz and expertise to the panel.”

After announcing his role as a regular judge, Anton said: "I think they're delighted as well because they know me.

"If somebody comes in from outside then it's sort of a whole starting again thing, but because it's me, we've already done it."

He admitted he had not spoken to Bruno since taking over his role.

"I'm going to miss spending time with my celebrities, I'm going to miss putting together a number, just the whole creative process," he said.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One next Saturday at 6.40pm.
