Strictly Come Dancing star Catherine Tyldesley said she struggled to squeeze back into her sequins, after too many Christmas treats.
The former Coronation Street actress, 36, is on stage for the
Live Tour which kicks off tonight in Birmingham.
But she had to warn her dance partner Johannes Radebe she had over-indulged over the holidays.
Catherine said: “I texted Jo Jo over Christmas and said, ‘Momma’s had a few mince pies, might be a bit heavier.’ I tried not to go overboard at Christmas but by the time I’d finished Strictly, all I wanted to do was eat and sleep!”
She also said she wants another baby to join her family of husband Tom Pitfield and son Alfie, four.
Catherine said: “You’re always going, ‘When the time is right!’ I don’t know when that will be because I’m so busy but I’d love to have another one at some point.” She and Johannes lost a dance-off to BBC’s Mike Bushell and Katya Jones , who also return for the live show.
They join Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard, Alex Scott and Neil Jones, and Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.
Kelvin Fletcher has a new partner in Janette Manrara , as does Emma Barton with Graziano di Prima. And Stacey Dooley , the 2018 victor, is hosting.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour opens at Arena Birmingham tonight and heads to Aberdeen, Leeds, Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow, Nottingham, and London’s O2.
