Strictly Come Dancing's Adam Peaty reunites with 'inspiring' co-star weeks after split from girlfriend

Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty split from his Welsh girlfriend Eiri Munro in August and has been spending time walking with one of his fellow Strictly Come Dancing co-stars, with whom he shares a "strong bond". During Adam's time on the show he was partnered with Katya Jones and they caused a stir when they appeared to almost share a kiss at the end of one of their dances.

Adam has since been spending time with Dragon's Den businesswoman Sara Davies. Sara and Adam competed in the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing together.

Sara took to her Instagram to tell her fans she "dragged my ass out of bed at silly o'clock" to meet up with Adam who she said she had a strong bond with. Posting a photo of both her and Adam smiling at the camera Sara said: "So this morning I dragged my ass out of bed at silly o'clock to head to the midlands to go for a nice 3-hour trek with this beast."

She added: "My friendship with @adam_peaty was one of the strongest bonds I formed during my Strictly experience last year, a friendship founded on shared values and mutual respect. We don't get to spend a lot of time together (we're both ridiculously busy people) but it's not about the volume of time, it's making it count."

Since announcing his split from Eiri on Instagram, Adam has not yet posted again or updated fans. He announced their split on Instagram in August 2022 and said: "Eiri and I have decided to go our separate ways. We have enjoyed a wonderful three years together, two of those with our gorgeous son George. Our priority has always been to provide the happiest and healthiest home environment for him, and right now that means ending our romantic relationship. I could not ask for a greater mother for George and I am so grateful to Eiri for her amazing support over the last three years. Eiri and George, I’m sorry for letting you down. My only interest is for the well-being of our family at this difficult time so I ask that our privacy is respected and I won’t be saying anything further."
