Olympian and Strictly star Adam Peaty has broken his silence after 'Strictly curse' rumours sparked following their passionate dance on Saturday night.
The Olympic swimmer and his professional dance partner Katya Jones performed an intense Argentine Tango on Saturday June 16 on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
Judge Anton Du Beke was highly impressed with their 'not one but three' lifts and the dance was labeled as Adam's 'come back' after failing to score highly the previous week.

However fans claimed they spotted a 'near kiss' at the end of the Argentine Tango between Adam and Katya as many took to social media to say it looked like Adam went in for a smooch.
Adam and Katya have now broken their silence with Adam taking to social media to warn viewers.
Birmingham Live reports that Adam tweeted: “My favourite dance so far. Thankyou to everyone who has sent supporting messages! I loved it.
“To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences.
“I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. “Protect your energy.”
Following that he posted just once sentence on Instagram. On a black background in white writing reads: "You soon realise who the real ones are".
Focusing on the dance, Katya shared a clip of the dance on Twitter, and said: “So proud of this. Hard work speaks for itself! Well done partner.”
The professional dancer also shared a shot of her on FaceTime with her pals, writing: “When all you need is to see your friend smiles.”
This comes after Adam's girlfriend, Eiri Munro uploaded a video to TikTok mocking the rumours pretending to be upset.
In the clip, she pretended to cry while the caption read: “Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live tv.”
She then pretended to scream, adding the caption: “Finding out 10 million people also watched it live."
Eiri had earlier shared a mirror selfie writing: “Not worried.”
