Strictly Come Dancing: Late mistake costs John and Johannes precious judges points

Johannes gave John the wrong hand leading into their final lift.

After the dance, Shirley Ballas said: "We asked you to give us some different content. You did some tricks and a beautiful knee slide.

"You know what? He did give you the wrong hand, but you got him up there and we were in shock it even went up.

"You got on with it, you did it, you entertained."

Craig Revel Horwood said: "It went well. It's just a shame about the last lift.

"I love it when it goes wrong. I absolutely love it.

"You had no chance, you just had to throw him on the floor in the end."

Motsi Mabuse said: "I loved the end, like Craig, because it was so funny, I loved it so much.

"But it's so great to see you coming into a dance with such different energy, with such an attack."

Anton Du Beke added: "You came without any inhibitions and I thought you pulled it off. Well done you."

John and Johannes were scored 7, 8, 8 and 9 by the judges.
