Strictly Come Dancing judges left stunned at Bill Bailey's incredible performance

Strictly Come Dancing judges were left stunned at Bill Bailey's incredible performance with dance pro partner Oti Mabuse.

The pair took on a vigorous quickstep routine that left viewers very impressed as Bill clearly brought his A game to the dancefloor.

As the pair began to jump and jive to the upbeat music, it soon became clear that Bill is not here to play around.

In fact, the judges were left so impressed that their scores spoke for themselves, as Bill and Oti racked up a total of 24, with 8 being from each judge; Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.

Craig was stunned by the performance, telling Bill and Oti that he was completely blown away.

"I thought it was absolutely fantastic," Craig said.

Meanwhile Shirley said: "I want to cry, I want to hug, I want to kiss you," as she was also floored by the incredible performance.

The comedian managed to execute the difficult dance moves whilst making it look easy, and fans certainly had something to say as they flocked to Twitter to compliment them on their routine.

Craig revealed he absolutely loved the routine (BBC)

"Absolutely LOVED this dance. Pure joy," one wrote.

Another viewer penned: "I am not surprised at his rhythm, maybe agility and energy. So uplifting to watch. We need the ‘lift’ too. Fantastic."

A third wrote: "They're such a joy to watch. And if there was any year for challenging the norm, 2020 is it!"

While a fourth added: "Oh @OtiMabuse and @BillBailey that was just the joyous tonic needed this evening."

The successful dance was a far cry from the pair's Cha Cha Cha last week.

Dancing to Pata Pata by Miriam Makeba with reigning champion Oti, Bill was disheartened to see disappointing scores from judges.

The pair racked up a whopping total of 24 points (BBC)

The pair were slapped with a 3 from Craig, and respective 6 scores from Shirley and Motsi.

When commenting, Motsi called the pair "a whole mood" and thought South Africa would love the use of the song, but said Bill needed to work on his technique. Craig said it created a new "dance genre" by dancing on "hot coals after a couple of double espressos".

Shirley said Bill was a "power rocket" but criticised his posture.
