Strictly Come Dancing final date and time revealed by BBC as favourites confirmed

This weekend, the four remaining couples on Strictly Come Dancing will take to the stage before three are sent through to the grand final.

Following the long-expected elimination of Dan Walker and his partner Nadiya Bychkova last Sunday, AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, John Whaite and Johannes Radebe, Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu, and Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice will all be fighting for their place in the top three.

All four pairings have received the highest score of the week from the judges at least once during the series, and so any one of them could face elimination this weekend.

The start times have routinely changed throughout the competition this year, and so to ensure that fans don't miss the beginning of the final episodes, The Mirror has compiled a summary of all the key information.

Here's everything you need to know about the grand final.

What day is the Strictly final airing?

The Strictly Come Dancing 2021 final is set to air one week before Christmas Day, on Saturday 18 December, 2021.

How can I watch the final and what time is it airing?

You can watch the Strictly Come Dancing finale on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Alternatively, if you can dodge spoilers on social media, you can watch the final on BBC iPlayer after the show has aired.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One every Saturday night, followed by the results show which happens on Sunday nights. Timings vary for each episode.

Who is likely to win Strictly this year?

Bookies place Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice as favourites to win this year with Paddy Power putting odds at 1/5.

Second most likely to win, according to odds of 10/1, is TV presenter AJ Odudu and partner Kai Widdrington, and third is the first all-male couple of John Whaite and Johannes Radebe with odds of 11/1.

The stars also reportedly receive £25,000 for participating and the winner gets a fee of £100,000, which means the pressure is certainly on to nab the top spot in the BBC competition.
