Strictly Come Dancing fans warned of scheduling change with shows moved due to World Cup

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been warned that there will be a scheduling change to this week's episode, due to the FIFA World Cup. England play France in the quarter finals of the tournament, with the much-anticipated knock-out match kicking off at 7pm UK time on Saturday, December 10.

The BBC has decided to delay Saturday's Strictly show by a day and move the semi-final of the popular dance series to 7.15pm on Sunday, December 11, to avoid a clash. The results show will then air on Monday, December 12, at 8.15pm.

Fans are being urged to be aware of the changes so not to miss out due to the football, with World Cup matches shown on BBC and ITV respectively. There are five couples remaining in the 2022 series of Strictly Come Dancing, who have been working on their performances all week. The final pairs include Will and Nancy, Fleur and Vito, Helen and Gorka, Molly and Carlos, as well as Hamza and Jowita.
