Strictly Come Dancing fans 'in for a shock' as spoiler leak points to dramatic exit

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left furious after the name of the dumped contestant leaked online - with many claiming viewers are in for a massive shock.

Viewers have been looking forward to finding out who leaves in the Sunday night edition of the BBC talent contest.

However, the name of the contestant who leaves in tonight's show was published online hours before the result airs on TV.

The infamous Strictly spoiler has been a long-running way for fans to find out who leaves.

Many took to Twitter to express their dismay after accidentally finding out who went home.

One wrote: "I dont even know the strictly spoiler but now I have a pretty good guess please can we STOP TALKING ABOUT IT AND STOP STOP STOP SPREADING IT AROUND."

However, many who have seen the spoiler any are convinced this elimination is going to shock viewers.

Another added: "I’ve checked the strictly spoiler since midnight and not one person seems to be happy about it."

One more tweeted: "If the #StrictlySpoiler is true the public should never be able to vote for anything. Wrong bottom two and wrong person gone! There was a clear weakest performer last night and it wasn't this person."

Fans of the show can find out who leaves when Strictly returns to TV tonight on BBC One at 7.35pm.

Anton was previously eliminated with Jacqui Smith (BBC)

Last week's dance off pitted Jacqui Smith and Anton du Beke against Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer.

Jacqui ended up losing and became the first contestant to go home.

Anton returned in last night's show by swapping the dance floor for the judging panel.

He was drafted in to replace Motsi Mabuse, who is isolating after an emergency trip to Germany.
