Strictly Come Dancing fans enraged as Christmas special winner is leaked

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left furious after the Christmas special winner was leaked.

Six celebrities - presenter Moira Stewart, pop star Anne-Marie, actress and presenter Mel Giedroyc, First Dates star Fred Sirieux, The Repair Shop's Jay Blades and broadcaster Adrian Chiles - will take to the dancefloor for a festive special this evening, but fans have been left fuming after the exit result was shared online.

Viewers took to Twitter ahead of the show, which begins at 5.10pm on BBC One tonight, to lament over the leaked result - as the show was filmed earlier this month ahead of its broadcast tonight.

The Mirror have chosen not to reveal who won the Christmas special but fans took to social media to comment on the result, as one wrote: "Thought this would be the case. Would be good to know how the dances scored but can wait till Christmas day for that."

Another added: "Yessss so happy with that result," whilst a third wrote: "Should make for an interesting watch but predictable win!"

Others were pleased with the result as they shared: "Congratulations to the couple."

The stars had been busy prepping for the festive special of the show, in the hope of lifting the Christmas glitterball trophy.

First Dates star Fred said the rehearsals had been so hard on his first day that he ended up throwing up and bleeding everywhere.

"We trained for four hours. My feet were bleeding. I went back home and I was vomiting everywhere," he said earlier this month, "My body couldn't take it. I lost three kilos in three weeks of training. Now I'm back to my fighting weight."

He added: "Well I got a call about four weeks ago now and they said, did you want to take part in the Strictly Christmas special and I got so scared. So scared because I can't dance. And then the other thing is about confidence because I'm a confident guy, I'm not shy but although I'm confident, I was thinking am I going to be able to be confident and also pull it off on the day."

Adrian Chiles has also confessed his family were "horrified" when they found out he'd be going on the show, as he said: "They were absolutely, to a man and woman, horrified! Even though my mum’s a massive fan of the show, she said,' Oh God!'"
