Strictly Come Dancing fans complain as BBC reschedules start time again

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left confused after BBC One changed the start time for the upcoming episode on Saturday.

Week 8 of the dancing competition will kick off at a slightly earlier time this weekend, meaning people may miss the start of the episode if they are not aware of the change.

As reported by WalesOnline, fans have complained the start time for the show has not been kept consistent week-to-week, leading to confusion.

Last week, it wasn't just viewers that were unprepared after the start time of the show was altered - former professional on the show James Jordan, who usually live tweets, missed out on the first part of the show.

"Ooops Strictly is earlier tonight," he wrote on social media. "Just catching up".

Another viewer asked: "Is it going to get earlier every week?"

A third added: "I missed the start of #Strictly, I'm doing well tonight."

Only eight contestants remain, following the departure of Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and his professional partner Katya Jones last Sunday.

The live show on Saturday will air at the earlier time of 6.40pm, running right through until 8pm.

Meanwhile, Sunday's results show will air at the later time of 7.20pm, following the third episode of new Doctor Who, and will include a special Remembrance Day routine and a performance from James Blunt.
