Strictly Come Dancing fans want couple to leave amid claims show is "fixed"

Strictly Come Dancing fans say the "wrong couple" has been sent home in tonight's results show, with one claiming the show is "fixed."

The curse of the Samba has struck again as Tilly and Nikita were sent packing after performing the tricky routine.

Some viewers are far from happy with the decision, saying it should have been a different couple ahead of the quarter finals next week.

Tweeting after tonight's results show, @eponinetaire said: "Dan should have gone off not Tilly!"

@harrydowning96 fumed: "Well done British public you have done it again!! You never fail to disappoint me in sending through couples that shouldn't be going through, and couples that should be are in the dance off!"

@CourierBoyUK added: "Ok, so they’ve fixed it for Dan to win #Strictly, will save me the bother of watching the rest of the series."

Strictly fans have been left puzzled as to how Dan has continued to avoid the dance off.

On Saturday night (November 27) he performed the rumba, scoring an impressive 31. But fans disagreed and called his performance 'wooden'.

Other viewers, meanwhile, say they were "entertained" by his performance on Saturday and think he is worthy of a quarter final spot.

@DanielJFrancis said: "Dan was one of my three favourites of the night, so got a vote. I was entertained, and that's what I personally judge on. We're told to vote for our favourites, not who we think were best technically or showed the most ability."

@Robinwindsor added: "@mrdanwalker you are everything @bbcstrictly is about - by far the most improved. Rumba is so hard for the guy and you did a great job - proper rumba choreography from @NadiyaBychkova aswell."
