Strictly Come Dancing fans baffled as final four couples 'predicted' weeks ago

Strictly Come Dancing has been faced with fresh 'fix' claims after a magazine’s apparent final four prediction turned out to be true.

Ashley Roberts, Faye Tozer, Joe Sugg and Stacey Dooley will fight it out in the ultimate ballroom battle to lift the glitterball trophy during this weekend's final.

But some fans have been quick to point out that the final four appeared to be “predicted” by a halfway-through-the-series Radio Times cover back in November.

One surprised fan wrote: “Does the radio times have physics working for them?.. They’ve literally predicted who the strictly finalist are with last months cover #strictly #strictlyfinals.”

Ahead of last week’s dance-off, another claimed: “If Lauren leaves next week then I think we can all safely say that the show is rigged, the Radio Times front cover a few weeks back proves that #Strictly @bbcstrictly.”

A third tweeted: “This time last year the #Strictly radio times came out and Joe, Davood, Alex and Debbie were on the cover. This time it's Joe, Ashley, Faye and Stacey so there is your final four and remember I called it first.”

Judges accused of 'undermarking' Joe and Dianne on Strictly

Standard Online has contacted Strictly Come Dancing for comment.

Last week, viewers were left crying “fix” after they felt Sugg and his partner Dianne Buswell were “undermarked” for their two dances.

Final four: Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev (BBC / Guy Levy)

The duo tackled a Viennese Waltz and a Tango, earning 59 points overall which left them fourth on the leaderboard.

Outraged fans soon flooded social media with “fix” cries as they claimed that the judges had been “unfair” about the YouTuber’s dances.

The final will see the remaining celebs perform three routines each: the judges' pick, their favourite dance and a showdance.

They will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Joe McFadden.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Grand Final is on Saturday December 15 at 6.30pm on BBC One.
