Strictly Come Dancing drama as Dianne Buswell 'rushed to hospital after being dropped on her head'

Strictly Come Dancing favourite Dianne Buswell has spoken out after a horror fall ahead of tonight's show.

According to reports Dianne, 30, was reportedly dropped 8ft onto her head by DJ partner Dev Griffin during rehearsals, but she has reassured fans that's she's fine after the accident.

Dianne took to Twitter to defend radio presenter Dev and reassure fans that she will be dancing tonight on the BBC One celeb dance contest .

She tweeted: "Morning everybody thank you for all the lovely msgs of concern.

"We had an accident, key word being accident.

"It was not Dev's fault at all, these things happen  But great news is I’m fine and we both can not wait to dance tonight.

"Thanks again for your thoughts and well wishes."

Radio One DJ Dev is said to have lost his grip on the dancer during a lift and Dianne was admitted to A&E amid fears she had suffered concussion.

Tonight Dianne and Dev will dance to Friend Like Me performed by Will Smith in the film Aladdin.

Last year Dianne made it to the final with YouTuber Joe Sugg.

The pair may not have lifted the Glitterball trophy but they found romance with each other.

And a smitten Dianne heaped praise on her boyfriend in an Instagram Q&A with fans.

"On a scale of one to 100 how happy does Joe make you?" asked one fan.

And she replied: "Your scale needs to be bigger."
