Strictly Come Dancing bosses eye TikTok superstar Holly H for new series

TikTok megastar Holly H is said to be high up on Strictly Come Dancing bosses' wish list.

The platform could be represented for the first time on the BBC show, it has been claimed.

And Holly is just one of the celebs said to have been approached for the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 line-up - if it goes ahead, that is.

The Sun say execs have asked celebrity bookers to get Holly on the dancefloor when the new series eventually hits our screens.

Following the success of YouTubers Saffron Barker, 19, and Joe Suggs, 28, they are keen to appeal to the younger generation.

The colourful social media phenomenon, full name Holly Hubert, is the UK's most popular TikTok star.

The 23-year-old has 16million followers, with teens sure to tune in if they can lure Holly through the door.

A source said: "Holly is the No1 target this year. The producers are obsessed with drawing in younger viewers."

They appear confident of landing the young star - but it's not good news about another target.

Michelle Keegan  appears to have ruled out the chance to be Strictly Come Dancing's "dream signing".

The 32-year-old former  Coronation Street  star is not looking for the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of her husband Mark Wright on to the Strictly dancefloor.

Michelle is thought have been the BBC's "number one choice" for many years, as she has been popular with TV audiences since her soap days

A source has told  The Sun : “Michelle loves Strictly and enjoyed supporting Mark when he competed in 2014 but the show is just not on her radar right now.

“There are so many more pressing things in the pipeline that she’s more passionate about, like big drama."

There are claims bosses could turn their attention to singing star Cheryl Cole.
