Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr has divulged about what it's really like to be on the Channel 4 show after announcing his exit earlier this week.
Dancer Tom announced that he was quitting the show just a day before the series' return this evening.
Taking to TikTok, Tom opened up about the perks of being on the programme - as well as the restrictions imposed on them for filming.
Among the benefits, Tom revealed, was definitely the food.
He told his followers: "Without a doubt, one of the best perks of Gogglebox is that every time we film, which is twice a week, the crew get us a takeaway of our choosing.
"It's literally one of the most amazing things about the show, honest to God. It's the best.
"The hardest thing is choosing what we're actually going to have to eat because my dad is super picky with food.
"Anything too far away from a pie or chips or sausage and mash isn't really his thing."
He continued to speak about his family's first time filming, which saw them sit in various positions on the sofa.
However, Tom revealed that they weren't allowed to switch around at all.
He said: "Going back to six and a half years ago when we filmed our first episode of Gogglebox, I think it was season four, we just sat in those positions.
"That was just the natural positions we sat in. That was fine.
"However moving on from then, we were never allowed to change those positions. That's because people don't like change."
Tom also admitted that he had never met a lot of the families on the show.
He added: "We don't know any other families on the show, we've never met.
"Occasionally we'll Tweet each other, but we don't know each other - or like meet up or anything like that. I've never met any of them."
