Stretch of Waterloo Street closed this weekend due to drainage works

A stretch of Waterloo Street in Glasgow city centre will be closed for a significant portion of this weekend due to urgent drainage works.

The street will be shut to traffic between Blythswood Street and Douglas Street until 6pm today (Saturday, January 25) and between 8am and 6pm tomorrow (Sunday, January 26).

With Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) confirming that diversions will be in place via Cadogan Street.

Road users are advised to take note.
