Stretch of Glasgow North road to be closed for urgent repair works

A stretch of a Glasgow North road is to be closed for four days while urgent repairs take place.

Wallacewell Road will be closed between Standburn Road Roundabout and Northgate Road from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 7.

The closure will be in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm daily while the road undergoes urgent arriageway patching works.

Glasgow City Council have confirmed that a diversion will be in place which goes via Brodie Road - Ferness Oval - Ferness Road - Northgate Road.

Drivers are advised to expect delays during the road closure and to avoid the area if possible.
