A section of a busy east end road is currently closed following a crash on Dalmarnock Road.
Emergency services are currently in attendance following the incident and the road is blocked to all southbound traffic between Clyde Gateway and Springfield Road.
A police diversion is currently in place.
Drivers have been warned to avoid the area if possible as major congestion builds up in and around the road.
A Glasgow City Council statement reads: "Dalmarnock Road is currently closed to all southbound traffic between the Clyde Gateway and Springfield Road due to an earlier accident.
"Surrounding streets are congested as a result of diverting traffic and road users should avoid the area if possible.
"Further updates will be issued when more information becomes available."
