An air ambulance has been called to a busy Nottinghamshire road after a five-vehicle collision.
Two lorries and three cars were involved in the crash on the A1 between Five Lane End and Markham Moor, near Tuxford, at about 10am,
The road is currently closed while the emergency services deal with the incident but there are no reports of any serious injuries.
Police, firefighters and paramedics are currently on the scene in addition to the air ambulance and Highways Agency workers.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
