'Stressful' - Former Nottingham Forest prospect has a new club

Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Toby Edser has joined Aldershot Town.

The 21-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the National League club.

Edser joined Forest when he was 16, but never made the breakthrough into the first-team at the City Ground.

He regularly wore the armband for the Under-23s and spent loan spells at Woking and Port Vale.

“I’m really happy, it’s been a bit stressful over the last few months," he said.

"I had some really good experiences at Forest.

"I went away on pre-season with the first-team a few times, so I had some really good experiences there."
