Police officers have been out in force across Merseyside in a bid to crack down on criminal activity.
As part of Operation Target deployments, officers took to the streets to stop check motorists earlier this week.
The roads targeted on February 10 were Belmont Road, Commercial Road, Dragons Lane, Sheil Road and Westminster Road.

As a result of the successful deployment, nine people who were stopped were either arrested or dealt with at the scene for a number of offences.
These included the possession of Class A drugs, driving without an MOT, insurance or whilst using a mobile as well as possession of criminal property and assault.
Merseyside Police took to social media to share the results of the operation adding: "These operations are vital as we continue tackling serious violence."
Operation Target is a major policing operation, which aims to tackle serious and violent crime.
As well as gun and knife crime, the operation will also focus on serious assaults, armed robberies and murder investigations and will look at wider issues such as violence in night time economy areas, county lines and drug use.
Chief Superintendent Matt Boyle previously said: “We know what concerns the people of Merseyside and although resources have been put into tackling these issues in the past this additional funding from the Home Office means our response will now be bigger and better.
“We know issues such as knife and gun crime really impact our communities and we are committed to tackling these issues head on and really making a difference.
“Some of this work will take place behind the scenes but I hope that the public will recognise our continued commitment to making Merseyside an even safer place to live, work and visit. I also hope that it will give confidence to people and reassure them that we will continue to take positive action to protect all victims of serious crime and bring criminals to justice.”
