Street heckler confronted Boris Johnson because 'he was talking sh**e'

The heckler who confronted Boris Johnson on the street has told how he targeted him out of sheer anger.

Bernard Flynn was captured by TV cameras berating the PM over his threat to crash Britain out of the EU.

The 49-year-old musician said he “just stumbled across” Mr Johnson while he was talking to the BBC near his home in Morley, Leeds.

Bernard, who told him he should be in Brussels negotiating a deal, added: “He was talking sh**e and I thought, ‘I’m not having that’.

“I just wanted to tell him he is playing games with people’s lives. I reacted instinctively, it was an honest expression of frustration and anger.”

Foster dad of four Bernard said he does not regret the confrontation and accused Mr Johnson of “trying to turn the people against Parliament” with his insistence on pushing for a no-deal.
