This is the dramatic moment police tackled a man allegedly behind an attack on two of their colleagues.
One of the officers is believed to have sustained a serious head wound.
The other officer was also injured during the incident in Paisley yesterday afternoon.
A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the alleged attack.

Police flooded the area after being called to a disturbance in Murray Street.

A man was pursued to the roundabout at the junction of Well Street and Gallow Green Road.
A confrontation led to two police officers and the man being hurt.
Startled drivers filmed the incident as traffic built up. And our picture shows two members of the public assisting a police officer sitting on the roundabout.
Police revealed they were called to Murray Street after a report of a man with a baseball bat causing a disturbance.
The incident was sparked around 3.30pm.
At least seven police units and two ambulances had raced to the scene.
The arrested man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland said: “"Around 3.30pm on Sunday, 5 September, 2021, police were called to a report of a man in possession of a baseball bat causing a disturbance in Murray Street, Paisley. Officers attended and, at Gallow Green Road near the roundabout, two officers were assaulted. Both officers were injured with one officer receiving a serious head injury. A 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment due to an injury to his head. No members of the public were injured. Enquiries are ongoing."
