Street closed after serious single-vehicle crash in Deakin

Police are yet to confirm the condition of a person involved in a serious car crash at Deakin on Monday evening.

The car is understood to have crashed into a tree before coming to rest on Grose Street.

ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire and Rescue and ACT Policing officers were called to the crash at 6.43pm.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said one person had been involved in the crash, however police have not revealed any information about that person's condition.

Grose Street was closed to traffic and the community is urged to avoid the area, as of 8.30pm.
