
The man shot dead by armed police during a terrorist attack in south London was released from prison around a week ago.
Sudesh Amman was serving time in prison for terror offences and was released after serving half of his three-year term.
The 20-year-old was under active police surveillance as authorities were concerned he still held extremist beliefs.
The Metropolitan police said they believe the attack, during which Amman stabbed two people, was "Islamist-related".
