Stray Kids tease Yungblud collab hopes as they celebrate new milestone

Stray Kids have revealed they would love to collaborate with Yungblud after scoring another milestone with their record-breaking new album.

The K-pop superstars dropped their latest full-length release KARMA last week, fronted by title track Ceremony. The project debuted at No.1 on the US Billboard 200, making it the band’s seventh chart-topper in the space of just a few years. According to Billboard, Stray Kids are now the group with the most No.1 albums on the Billboard 200 this century.

The achievement follows their mammoth stadium world tour , which saw them travel 177,000 miles across five continents in under a year – the equivalent of circling the globe seven times. Across 341 days, they played 54 shows in 34 regions, including two sold-out nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after headlining BST Hyde Park in 2023.

Speaking about what’s next, rapper Han shared his dream collaboration. He said: “If I ever get the chance, I’d love to perform on a stage like Yungblud. I’ve always been a fan of his music, and the energy of his performances is something I really admire. It would be amazing to share the stage with him someday.”

Fellow member Seungmin reflected on the group’s rapid rise, adding to Rolling Stone UK: “We never imagined this when we first debuted, and even now, it still feels like a dream. Performing the music we love in front of so many fans in huge stadiums is truly incredible. We’re so grateful for all the support from STAY, and we sincerely hope moments like this continue for a long time.”

Formed in Seoul in 2017, the eight-piece group have grown into one of the biggest acts in the world, praised for their explosive live shows and genre-blending sound. With KARMA cementing their dominance on the global charts and live stage, Stray Kids show no sign of slowing down – and if Han’s wish comes true, fans could be in for an explosive link-up with Doncaster rocker Yungblud in the not-so-distant future.

In the meantime, Yungblud has just announced a collaboration EP with Aerosmith. The five-track project, titled One More Time, will be released on November 21 and will be preceded by a brand new single, My Only Angel, arriving this Friday.
