Strawberry teas went down a treat at Castle Douglas Parish Church’s summer fair on Saturday afternoon.

The day is one of the church’s main fundraisers for the year and raised the fantastic total of £925.

The human fruit machine, involving knitted fruit, proved extremely popular and there was also a coconut shy.

There was also a tombola, plant sale, bat the rat, ping pong and a guess the weight of the cake competition.
