KAWAGOE, Saitama -- It's that time of year: Ripe red strawberries are ready for picking.
A company called @FARM in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, welcomes visitors during the pandemic while taking measures against the novel coronavirus.
The farm requires customers to wear face guards, disinfect their hands and have their temperature taken before they enter the greenhouses, which are limited to a capacity of 50 people to ensure proper social distancing.
Visitors are provided with cute face guards with pictures of strawberries on them and gloves. Then, they can pick away and get their fill of lip-smacking-good fresh strawberries.
Strawberry picking is available until the middle of May.
