A person has died after being hit by a Central line train at Stratford station.
Police and paramedics rushed to the east London station shortly after midday on Tuesday.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A BTP spokesman said: “Officers were called to Stratford station at 12.12pm this afternoon following a report a person had been struck by a train.
“Paramedics are also in attendance and sadly a person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The Central line was partly suspended while emergency services dealt with the incident. Severe delays were reported across the whole line.
