A teenager has been stabbed to death in broad daylight outside a McDonald's in East London.
It happened at 3.20pm outside Stratford Broadway, police confirmed.
The area is currently cordoned off, and shoppers at the busy Stratford Centre reported being kept inside stores while police and paramedics responded to the tragedy.
The age of the male victim is not yet known.
The Stratford Centre posted on Twitter: "The Centre is currently closed due to an incident and will remain closed until further notice."
The Met Police wrote: "Detectives are investigating after a male teenager was fatally stabbed outside Stratford Broadway at 1520hrs today.
"Crime scene remains in place. Section 60 now in place.
"Anyone with information to call police on 101 quoting reference 4644/10Oct or Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111"
