Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown says Drake texts her 'boy advice'

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that she gets advice "about boys" from her friend Drake

The 14-year-old actress formed a friendship with the pop star, who is 31, after they met in Australia last year. She was asked about their relationship during a red carpet interview at the Emmy Awards in LA on 18 September.

"We just texted each other and he was like, 'I miss you so much' and I was like 'I miss you too!'" she told Access Hollywood.

Asked about what advice he gives her she replied: "About boys, he helps me" but added any detail "stays in the text messages".

Brown met Drake when he attended the Brisbane Supernova convention she was appearing in during a short break from his sold-out Australian tour last year.

The pair shared photos of their encounter on their Instagram accounts and have apparently stayed in touch.

Brown rose fame for her portrayal of the character Eleven in the hit Netflix series. In April this year she became the youngest person ever to be included in TIME magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people. She is set to make her feature film debut in the Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will also star and produce in the film adaptation of the Enola Holmes Mysteries.

Drake, meanwhile, has been busy breaking music industry records with his latest album Scorpionwhich was released in June. Six of its singles reached the top 10 on the US Billboard 100 (three at No.1). On the day of its release, Scorpion broke Spotify's one-day global record for album streams, with 132.45m streams – 50m more than the previous record-holder Post Malone, with his album Beerbongs & Bentleys.

Brown said she plans to next see Drake when he comes to Atlanta for his "Aubrey and the Three Migos" tour in November.
