Things may be about to get even stranger for the Hawkins kids.
Sci-fi Netflix hit Stranger Things will return for season 4 late next year as filming is set to kick off in January 2020, but now we have a working title for the new season which has left us scratching our heads.
A new listing in Production Weekly has revealed that the fourth run will have the working title of Tareco.
For the uninitiated, Tareco is a round and firm Brazilian biscuit that, as far as we can tell, has had no mention or appearance in the series before season 4.
Will Brazil be a location in the new run?
It is believed that Stranger Things 4 will film in Atlanta, Georgia, and not in Brazil.
However, the possibility of Tareco being a code for a character, place, or objects is also always a possibility.
One Twitter fan of Stranger Things wrote: “My theory is that they’re giving it a fake name and saying they’re filming for Tareco instead of Stranger Things 4 so they don’t have another filming incident again where they leaked behind-the-scenes photos, but that’s just my guess"
This is probably the case but we are mostly concerned about whether our favourite sheriff, Jim Hopper ( David Harbour ) will be back alive and well in the new episodes after he was seemingly killed off in the season 3 finale.
If he does return, will he be the same man that Joyce ( Winona Ryder ) and Eleven ( Millie Bobby Brown ) known and love?
Stranger Things 4 will be released on Netflix in 2020.
