A tarantula was left abandoned in an old sweet jar outside a beauty clinic in Wirral.
The eight-legged creepy-crawly was spotted by the clinic's owner Linsday Mcnally, who found it on her step.
She said: "It was left on the step of my clinic, Aesthetics of Wirral in Bebington, in an old style sweet jar."

Lindsay posted a picture to Facebook asking if anyone had lost the spider.
One person said: "Maybe it’s in for a leg wax mate."
Another said: "Omg I would die!"
A third added: "How bizarre?"
Lindsay told the ECHO: "I haven’t found the owner but there were lots of offers from people to help and someone from Wirral Animal Samaritans, which is a rescue for wildlife and domestic creatures, collected it.
"She said it was only young and said it was a Whiteknee Tarantula."
Whiteknee Tarantulas are from Brazil and are often kept as pets due to their size - but can bite if provoked.
Their venom is not considered dangerous but because of their large their bite can cause swelling and pain.
They have a lifespan of 18 to 20 years and eat once or twice a week.
Lindsay said: "My building used to be Broadway vets about six years ago so I am not sure if they [the person who left it] thought the building was still a vets."
