Stranger in Asda made mum's day with kind offer

Things went from bad to worse for a mum who was already having a "nightmare of a day", when she was forced to leave Asda after her card was declined.

She went to pay at the supermarket in Liscard in the Wirral, on Monday, entering her pin four times before deciding to leave the shop.

However, things took an upward turn after she was approached by a kind stranger, reports the Liverpool Echo

The man offered to pay for her shopping, which she said "made her day".

The woman realised that she had brought the wrong card so declined the man's offer, but wanted to say thank you to him for his act of kindness.

Sharing what happened on Facebook, she wrote: "Some people are just special! I was at Asda (Liscard) today, nightmare of a day.

"By this time it’s past the kids tea time, I am so behind with my day. My card wouldn’t work for like the forth time running!! I left the shop!

"To what ever man you were, I was with my son! You made my day offering to pay and help me out! I didn’t accept, I had the wrong card! But strangers and humans like this are few and far between!

"You made my day with your kindness so thank you."
