'Stranger' followed three women in Bristol before trying to get in their car, police say

Three women were followed by a stranger in Cabot Circus car park in Bristol, police say.

A man followed a woman, in her 20s, and her two female friends before attempting to get in their car.

Avon and Somerset Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the reported incident on Friday, June 4.

An Avon and Somerset Police statement said: "We’re appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in Bristol city centre in which three women were followed by stranger.

"At about 5.15pm on Friday, June 4, a woman in her 20s and two female friends were followed through Cabot Circus car park by an unknown man who tried to get into her car.

"Officers would like to identify the man pictured below in connection with this incident.

"He’s described as black, aged 25-30, and of medium build."

Anybody who recognises him, or has information that could assist police with the investigation, are asked to call 101 quoting reference 5221124174.
