TK Maxx have donated their stock to an Edinburgh foodbank after the government announced all "non essential" shops must close down immediately, to prevent the spread of potentially deadly coronavirus.
Food facts and friends food bank, were overwhelmed by the donation they received from the clothing company, taking to social media to show their apprecation.
In a statement shared online, the food bank said: "Many thanks to TK Maxx at Straiton who donated all their food items to us, just before they went into lockdown and closed the shop.
"This donation helped us to provide food parcels for all those finding themselves short of food at this time."

Mark Wells, project co-ordinator, told Edinburgh Live that TK Maxx and the food bank have always had a great relationship saying: "We work closely with TK Maxx
"In the past they have donated £1,000 and hundreds of easter eggs to us."
Mark also told Edinburgh Live, how the TK Maxx donation had eased pressure during a "really challenging time" for the charity.
Food facts and friends, who service both Penicuik and Dalkeith, say they were elated when receiving a call from the TK Maxx store manager.
Mark said: "They have donated easter eggs, sweets, pasta, coffee, tea and so much more.
"We have seen a lot of challenges and are trying to help deliver food to those stuck self isolating.
"We have been struggling to keep up a stock of long life milk, usually we would just get it from the supermarket but everyone is stockpiling it."
Mark said he visited Straiton Cosco to try and replenish long life milk in the foodbank, however he was told it was limited to one per customer.
Luckily the foodbank also received another generous Straiton donation, when McDonald's donated it's milk after closing down all stores.
